Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Reviewner (“Reviewner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with its head office in Gurgaon, India, governing your access to and use of the website at reviewner.com, its subdomains, and all related content, reviews, scores, accounts, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a Pro membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and our Methodology page by reference.

1. About Reviewner and Our Reviews

Reviewner is an independent publisher that tests artificial-intelligence tools, apps and software’s researches publicly available information about them, and publishes its own assessments — including a “Reviewner Score” for each tool. Our reviews, scores, rankings, and related content reflect our editorial opinion and analysis as of the date of publication. They are provided for general information only and are not professional, financial, legal, or technical advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, use, or avoid any particular tool. You are responsible for your own evaluation and decisions. See Section 9 for important disclaimers.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You are not eligible to use the Service if you are under 18 years of age, or otherwise under the minimum age required by the laws of your country of residence to enter into a binding contract. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. We may refuse registration, or suspend or terminate accounts, in accordance with Section 13.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Copy, scrape, republish, resell, or systematically extract our reviews, scores, or other content except as expressly permitted (see Section 6);
• Use automated means to access the Service except as permitted by our robots.txt or with our prior written consent;
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to interfere with the Service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, obscene, hateful, infringing, or otherwise unlawful;
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or entity;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

We may investigate and take action — including content removal, account suspension, and referral to authorities — for any suspected violation.

4. User Submissions

The Service may let you submit comments, ratings, suggestions, tool tips, or other material (“User Submissions”). You retain ownership of your User Submissions, but you grant Reviewner a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), publish, display, and otherwise use them in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You represent that your User Submissions are your own (or you have the rights to submit them), are accurate where they state facts, and do not infringe any third-party right or violate any law.

We do not endorse and are not responsible for User Submissions, and we may review, edit, refuse, or remove them at our discretion. User Submissions are not our editorial reviews and do not affect the Reviewner Score, which is determined solely by us as described on our Methodology page.

5. Reviewner Pro (Paid Membership)

Reviewner offers an optional paid membership (“Reviewner Pro”). The following terms apply if you subscribe.

5.1 Subscription, Billing & Currency

Reviewner Pro is a recurring annual subscription. The current price and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment provider, PayPal; by subscribing, you authorise us (through PayPal) to charge your chosen payment method the subscription fee plus any applicable taxes for each term.

5.2 Automatic Renewal & Cancellation

IMPORTANT — AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: Unless you cancel, your Reviewner Pro subscription automatically renews at the end of each annual term for a further term of the same length, and your payment method will be charged the then-current fee. We will send a renewal reminder before each renewal where required by law. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current term, through your account settings or your PayPal account, or by contacting hello@reviewner.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively refund the current term.

5.3 Refunds

Reviewner Pro fees are non-refundable once charged, including for any unused portion of a term, except where a refund is required by mandatory consumer-protection law (for example, a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right that applies to you, such as the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers).

5.4 Changes to Pro

We may change Pro features or pricing on a prospective basis with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal, and continuing your subscription after a change means you accept it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its content — including our reviews, the Reviewner Score and scoring methodology, articles, rankings, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by or licensed to Reviewner and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share short quotations or links with attribution to Reviewner, but you may not copy, republish, resell, or create derivative works from our content, or use it to train or build a competing product or dataset, without our prior written consent.

“Reviewner” and the Reviewner Score are our brand and marks. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks referenced in our reviews remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and commentary.

7. Third-Party Tools, Links & Independence

Reviewner reviews independent third-party AI tools and links to their websites. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the tools we review unless we expressly state otherwise, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a third-party tool. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, websites, pricing, or content, and your dealings with any third-party tool are solely between you and that provider.

Our editorial independence is described on our Methodology page. As explained there, we do not accept payment from the companies we review in exchange for coverage, scores, or rankings. Any advertising or membership revenue is kept separate from our editorial assessments.

8. Accuracy, Availability & Changes to Content

We work to keep our reviews accurate and current, but AI tools change quickly, and pricing, features, and performance may change after we publish. Content may contain errors or become out of date, and we may update, correct, re-score, or remove content at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL REVIEWS, SCORES, RANKINGS, AND OTHER CONTENT, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for your purposes. The Reviewner Score and our reviews are our opinion and must not be relied on as the sole basis for any decision. Any reliance on the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reviewner and its partners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, any content, or any third-party tool, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where you have not paid us any amount, our aggregate liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reviewner and its partners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Submissions; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service or any account, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or for prolonged inactivity or non-payment. You may stop using the Service or close your account at any time. If you have a paid Pro subscription, terminating your account does not by itself entitle you to a refund (see Section 5.3). Provisions that by their nature should survive — including Sections 6, 9–11, and 14–15 — survive termination.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting hello@reviewner.com. If a dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, it will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended), seated at Gurgaon, Haryana, India, conducted in English; the award will be final and binding. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court, and nothing removes any non-waivable right a consumer may have to bring a claim before the consumer forums or courts of their place of residence. Subject to the above, the courts at Gurgaon, Haryana, India have exclusive jurisdiction, and mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable advance notice where required (for example, by email or an on-site notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

16. General

• Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Methodology page, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
